SHOCKER was formed in the spring of 2006 to showcase a variety of influences; legends such as Jimi Hendrix, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, as well as modern artists Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden, Tool, Wolfmother and Jet, to name just a few.
Considering the diversity of the setlist, SHOCKER obviously has many combined years of experience. Covering everything from the Blues and Classic Rock to Heavy Metal and Modern Rock, SHOCKER displays versatility not found in many bands today.
Featuring the amazing Lead Guitar of Pat Reinbolt (Painkiller, Section VIII), soaring Vocals of one of Edmonton's finest in Paul Anderson (Detonator, Painkiller, Tyrant),Bill Thain of ( Tyrant and Painkiller ) on Bass and backing vocal, and the steady rhythm's of Daryl Buchanan (Hep Kats, The Dry Heaves) on Drums.
With a little bit of everything, SHOCKER really is Edmonton's PREMIERE Hard Rock Cover Band.
